My first day at
ALP was very excited, but very sleeping. I took a bus by myself, and I went to
school. I felt a little bit
nervous. It was my second day in California. Everything was my first time. I went to school, and I was taking a test. But I didn’t know where to go, so I asked a
stranger. But he was also ALP
student. After that, we were arrived a
room. The test was not easy for me. Then, I met Ms. Michelle. She was very funny. Next test was speaking test. I really felt nervous. But every teacher was very kind, so I felt
better. Finally, all tests were
done. I left the school. My feeling was good. This is my good first day at ALP.
On the first day in ALP there were a lot of things that happened to me. There were many new students I didn’t know. Really that’s was a very scary experience. First of all, in the first day I met some students and they are from the same of my country, they were helpful. Also we set and had a conversation that where we must to go now. After a while, we went to the T.S.U, for eating lunch. After that, we went to some classes, for teaching us about the university. When we were at the T.S.U we saw allot of new thing. The American students they were very happy. Something like that gave me the encourage to start a new life. At the end of the day I met a lot of friends, so I guess I’m lucky guy. To sum up, that’s was a very nice experience that you walk on different life and new culture. Sometime it’s hard, but you must to attempt to improve yourself.
ReplyDeleteAt the first day of my school in ALP it was amazing day .I went to student service office and I register for FALL 2012 2nd entry they were very helpful with me although my language was weak .they give appointment for placement test it was after one week after registration. I really prepare for that test, so I think I did a good exam
ReplyDeleteAnd they put me in suitable level .my first level it was fundamental .The first week for class was much quit .
I met with other students from around the world .Most of my classes it was small .after first week I used to it.
The time was passed so fast the classes were very boring at the beginning, but it was a good experience for me and other students. Eventually, the first semester gone or done and I got a lot of information from that semester and it was a good memories.
ReplyDeleteAt my first day in ALP I was exciting and afraid. It was on the last year. I was exciting because it was my first day I will learn English on it, and I was afraid because I wasn’t talk English very well. At first, I took the level test and they put me in Novice level. My English was so bad, so I wasn’t talk with anybody. The ALP teachers wanted from us to talk to each other, so they put us in the groups. In my group were there a lot of students from Asia, so I was must talk with them in English. In fact, after I talked with them I felt comfortable because they were like me couldn’t talk very well. When we were in the group they took us around the university and they showed us the buildings that our classes will be at it. In conclusion, I don’t remember the all details of the day, but I remember it was exciting.
ReplyDeleteIn the first, day in the ALP I went to the ALP office to get the placement test. And
there were a lot of students taking the test, so I wasn’t nervous. And it wasn’t bad. When I finished the test I went with my friend to eat in The Habits restaurant. After that I went to the campus to see the classes and the buildings. And while I was walking in the campus I remembered that I forgot my pen in the restaurant, so I went back to take it. Unfortunately when I went there I didn’t find it, so I went back to walk in the campus. After That, I went back to International Students office to ask them about where I can found suitable places to live around here, and they gave me some recommendations. After that I went back home. In my way to home I stopped by Wall mart . and this was my first day in ALP
ReplyDeleteIn the beginning, I have good impression about ALP program since my brother was her one year ago. I prepare myself for this date,also I’m prepare all my documents. When I was arriving to ALP, I contacted with the coordinators in the international office. They are scheduled my name to the day after,for doing the placement test. Day after, I arrived to the exam hall. The exam was accepted in difficulty but, I couldn’t managed the time. After that, I got my result which was in the development level. It was good result for me, for improve my language especially in composition and reading skills. Then I was ran to the next step which include where I can find fantastic apartment honestly it was horribly step especially you are dealing with different mind from the owners. I contacted my family to assure them, for my Mom was asking me about any next step.
Finally , I got apartment which included one bed room and small lounge with accepted price.
